Frequently Asked Questions

  • As an indoor venue without fixed seating, we offer flexible accommodations to meet the needs of individuals with accessibility needs.

  • To purchase or consume alcohol, guests must present a valid, physical, government-issued photo ID showing date of birth. Guests must be 21 or older.

    We accept:

    • Valid U.S. driver’s license
    • Valid state-issued ID card (from any U.S. state)
    • U.S. passport or passport card
    • Foreign passport (must be valid and include photo & birthdate)
    • U.S. military ID
    • U.S. Permanent Resident Card (“Green Card”)

    IDs We Cannot Accept

    • Expired IDs
    • Photos or photocopies of IDs
    • IDs on a phone or digital wallet
    • Student IDs
    • Temporary paper IDs
    • Damaged or unreadable IDs

  • All shows hosted by Out West at The Horseshoe are 16 and up concerts. Anyone under the age of 16 will not be allowed entry. There is a $10 minor upcharge for 16-20 year olds. 

  •  Alcohol is sold only to guests 21 years of age and older, with proper identification. The termination of alcohol sales will be determined on an event-by-event basis.

    Alcohol and all drinks purchased at The Horseshoe must be consumed within the premises. All patrons exiting the building must dispose of any unconsumed liquid before leaving the premises.  

     

    All guests should consume alcohol responsibly. Any guest who appears intoxicated may be denied entry or ejected. Any person under the age of 21, who is in possession of alcoholic beverages, regardless of how they obtained the beverages, is subject to ejection without refund and may face legal consequences.

  • There is no backstage access unless provided by the artist management. Passes are usually only provided by artist management or fan clubs to select recipients. Out West personnel cannot provide any artist tour information.

  • Out West enforces a CLEAR BAG POLICY. All bags are subject to search upon entry.

  • Out West's official ticketing provider is Tixr

     

    Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the door on event days. Please note that Out West does not operate a physical box office for in-person purchases on non-event days.

  • Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted at Out West bars. Cash will not be accepted. 

  •  In the event of an emergency where evacuation of the premises is necessary, you will be informed via public address announcement. Please remain calm and walk towards the nearest exit. Follow posted signs, staff instructions, and listen for announcements for specific information.

  • Guests can enjoy food options from on-site food trucks. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (Coca-Cola products, Red Bull) and bottled water are also available. The variety of beverages varies from event to event and will feature domestic and imported beers, and liquor. Outside beverages including water bottles, canteens, and containers of any kind are not permitted. 

  • The distribution of promotional items, samples, handbills, flyers, pamphlets, printed materials, as well as the solicitation of signatures, are not permitted during these events. Please contact ariel@outwestmidland.com for inquiries.

  • Found items will be held by staff members on duty during events. Please email kaylina@outwestmidland.com to inquire about lost and found. Unclaimed items after 30 days are discarded or destroyed.

  • For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, masks that cover a person's full face/head may not be worn while in attendance at any Out West event. Medical masks are permitted.

  • To inquire about media credentials or a photo pass for a show, please contact ariel@outwestmidland.com prior to the event. Out West's staff will share your request with the event promoter.

  • If an artist meet-and-greet is available at a concert, it will be sold as a ticket through our ticketing platform, TIXR.

  • Complimentary parking is available for guests attending events at The Horseshoe.

  • Out West has a CLEAR BAG POLICY.

     

    Out West has a select number of prohibited items that cannot enter the facility. These items include, but are not limited to:

     

    • No air horns

    • No alcoholic beverages

    • No bags that are not clear - Out West has a CLEAR BAG POLICY

    • No banners or signs larger than 20" x 28"

    • No cameras with detachable lenses or recording devices (approved and credentialed media excluded)

    • No coolers

    • No confetti / streamers

    • No explosive devices, including and not limited to fireworks, poppers, cap guns

    • No glass

    • No helium balloons and inflatable balls

    • No illicit/Illegal drugs

    • No laser pointers

    • No lawn chairs

    • No noisemakers

    • No pets

    • No pocket knives

    • No stickers

    • No tripods and camera stands of any size or dimension (including selfie-sticks)

    • No unapproved pamphlets, handouts, ads, stickers, and flyers inside the venue or in parking areas without prior consent from Out West management

    • No weapons of any kind and objects that may be used as a weapon (i.e. bats, rocks, etc.)

    • No wrapped gifts

    • Portable Electronics

    • No tablets

    • No selfie sticks

    • No gimbals

  • Out West does not allow re-entry for concerts.

  •  Out West staffs both bouncers and police officers to provide security before, during, and after events. Depending on the current Homeland Security National Threat Advisory, Out West will base event security upon that level, along with the performer's security requirements.

  • For safety, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the venue. 

  • Tickets for Out West events can be purchased online at https://www.tixr.com/groups/outwest

     

    Tixr is the only authorized ticket-selling agent of Out West. Out West is not responsible for the authenticity of tickets obtained from any other source. Out West will not honor counterfeit or invalid tickets.  

     

    There are no refunds or exchanges of tickets purchased. If an event is canceled and rescheduled, patrons will receive the new performance information through the email address provided at the point of sale. If a performance is canceled and is not rescheduled, Tixr will issue a full refund.

  • VIP Tables and Couches are available for purchase through Tixr and include dedicated table service throughout the event.

  • If your tickets are being held at Will Call, they can be picked up at the main entrance on the day of the event. Please have a valid photo ID that matches the name on the order to claim your tickets.
